Volunteer Training

Saturday, April 5, 2025

Volunteer Training is held at Living Waters Bible Camp on April 5, 2025.  All volunteers who were unable to attend can watch the videos below. Make sure you fill out the worksheet as you are watching the videos.

You can also download the 2024 Volunteer Training Worksheet here. If you use the pdf version, please fill, scan, and email to Andy Douglass andyd@lwbc.org Or mail it to camp.

Information

Living Waters Bible Camp strives to reach, train and equip people to be Christ-like servants in God’s Kingdom.

Volunteers like you are a critical part of the mission at camp this summer.  All volunteers must participate in this annual training.  Most problems that arise among staff are due to staff not being aware of the what’s, why’s, and how’s of camp policy. If you are unable to attend the in-person training, the recordings will be available afterward.

This training is required by ACA standards and by Living Waters policies.  Please make every effort to attend the training at camp or view the training on video at a later time. All volunteers must complete the training prior to arriving at camp for their week of service.

Theme

This year our theme is “Satisfy Your Thirst.” Join us this summer as we discover how water illustrates truths to help us navigate the world around us. We are excited to explore how physical water points us to the source of true fulfillment.

O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water”

Psalms 63:1

Options

Lodging is available for both Friday and Saturday evenings.

Child Care will be provided during the training sessions on Saturday.  Please register your children for the event.

We will also offer a live stream of the event if you are unable to join us in person on April 5th.  More information about the live stream will be available in April.

The videos of the training event will be available on this webpage to offer training to those who were not able to attend.
